As the prime consultant to Dallas Area Rapid Transit, LAN provided management and design for two separate bus transfer centers in downtown Dallas. Additionally, LAN provided site-based construction management oversight and quality assurance functions. Work included two building enclosures measuring 2,000 square feet (SF) each as well as 265,360 SF of associated amenities and paving improvements for adjacent streets to accommodate 2,000 buses per day.

In completing the work, LAN attended public meetings, made presentations to special interest groups involved in the design process, and provided extensive coordination with the City of Dallas and other agencies active in the downtown area, including private utility companies. Particular consideration was given to minimizing disruption to adjacent businesses and property owners.
