North Interstate 35 Tech Ridge Park & Ride

Description:

LAN planned and designed a phased 1,200 car park and ride facility in north Austin for Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Cap Metro). LAN provided full schematic and preliminary engineering for this three-phase park and ride facility. LAN developed three alternative site plans in cooperation with Cap Metro's operations, security, and planning departments. A final concept was designed to include an initial phase of 500 vehicles, and ten bus-berthing bays. Phase 2 provided parking for an additional 800 vehicles, and the third and final phase would afford spaces for an added 500 vehicles.
