Paul Kullman, AIA, and Juan Mendoza Jr., PMI, Join LAN as Program Managers

Planning, engineering and program management firm Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN) hired Paul Kullman, AIA, and Juan Mendoza Jr., PMI, as program managers. They will be responsible for planning, executing and finalizing the design and construction of higher education, federal and state projects. They also will be responsible for expanding the firm’s program management services in these markets.
Kullman has more than 41 years of experience in all areas of architectural practice with a focus on educational, grocery retail, industrial, and religious facilities. He has overseen the programming, planning, design, production, and construction contract administration of more than 400 projects. Previously, he served as the owner and founding partner of WKMC Architects, a 30-person architectural design firm with a vast portfolio of projects across Texas. A registered architect in Texas, Kullman is an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Texas Society of Architects, and the Brazos Chapter of the AIA. He received his AAS degree in architectural technology from Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, Texas, and graduated with a master of divinity in theology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
Mendoza has more than 25 years of program and project management experience in various industries, including education, construction, energy, government, and infrastructure. An expert in program and project management, project controls and scheduling, Mendoza has delivered capital, information & technology, and manufacturing projects for a number of high-profile clients, including Chevron, BP, GlaxoSmithKline, and Nokia Siemens Networks. Previously, he served as a program manager at Freudenberg Oil & Gas. Mendoza received his bachelor’s degree in business management and a master of business administration degree from the University of Phoenix. He is a member of the Project Management Institute.
