Gary R. Bouthillier, P.E., Joins LAN as Director of Aviation

Gary R. Bouthillier, P.E., joins planning, engineering and program management firm Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN) as its director of aviation. In this role, he will be responsible for providing business development support and directing the firm’s aviation projects throughout the United States.
Bouthillier has nearly 20 years of experience designing and managing large and small aviation projects from inception to completion, both international and domestic. Previously, he lead Jacobs Engineering’s Fort Worth aviation group, where his responsibilities included managing the group’s workload, budgets, schedules, business development, program coordination and administration. Prior to that, he served W.K. Dickson & Co., Inc. as its program manager responsible for the firm’s Charlotte office aviation department.
Bouthillier’s aviation portfolio includes serving as a senior design manager for the $2.2 Billion Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport Terminal Renovation Improvement Program for the past four years. As part of the TRIP program design/design management team, Bouthillier managed the design of the new Terminal E roadway system in conjunction with the enhanced parking structure, new main entry/exit parking control plazas, extension of taxiway WF, airport layout plan update and other miscellaneous airfield improvements. He also has worked on multiple runway and taxiway design and rehabilitation projects including Charlotte Douglas International Airport, the Eastern Iowa Airport as well as airports in Central and South America and the Caribbean.

Bouthillier received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He is registered as a professional engineer in multiple states, including Texas, Florida, and New Hampshire. He also has a six sigma green belt certification.
