Daniel Dow, P.E., Joins LAN as Infrastructure Manager

(AUSTIN – Jan. 21, 2015) Daniel Dow, P.E., joins planning, engineering and program management firm Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN) as infrastructure manager focused on the water and wastewater market in Central Texas. In this role, he will serve as project manager and senior engineer for major treatment, collection and distribution projects.
Dow has more than 15 years of experience as a designer, manager and process engineer in a wide variety of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects with a focus on wastewater treatment. He has worked extensively with aging infrastructure evaluation, rehabilitation, and improvement and replacement programs along with new infrastructure for growing municipalities.
“Daniel’s leadership qualities and technical expertise working with municipalities, along with his specialized skillset in delivering wastewater treatment solutions will be a great addition to our LAN Team,” said Drew Hardin, LAN’s vice president.
Prior to joining LAN, he was the regional service group manager for Herbert, Rowland & Grubic, Inc., where he managed the replacement and expansion of numerous wastewater treatment plants, sewer replacement and rehabilitation, pump station improvements, and collection and main collection system to an unsewered area, as well as serving as lead engineer and project manager for a new reverse osmosis plant.
Dow holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Colorado State University. He is a registered engineer in Pennsylvania and West Virginia, and is in the process of obtaining his license in Texas. distribution systems.
